Having read “A crowning mercy” a tale of Puritan times and the Lazenders. Fallen Angels takes us forward 4 generations to the French revolution. The aristocracy in France are in danger. A sect “The Fallen Angels” are responsible for the death of Toby Laxen’s bride-to-be. He then mysteriously disappears. Toby’s sister Campion has been in charge of the Lazen estates since her father’s death, but the sect wants the riches so they can foster revolution in England. Can Campion find her brother? Is he still alive? Can she win out with the help of a mysterious gypsy? Gripping to the last page.
