Masterton District
Library welcomes book reviews. Anyone interested in reviewing
a book for publication on our website may do so in the following
way:
- Write a review of a Library book you have read and submit
it to the Book Review Editor using the form
provided.
Terms
and Conditions of Book Reviews submitted
In all cases, reviews will be considered
for publication on the basis of the quality of the evaluation
and description of the book. Masterton District Library reserves
the right to edit, modify, publish in full or part or refuse
to publish any book review submitted to the Library. By submitting
a book review the author of the review gives Masterton District
Library permission to publish their work
The book review
should be your description and evaluation of the book's content.
The review should be brief.
The inclusion or
exclusion of a particular book should not, under any circumstances,
be used as indication of the merit of that work. Nor should
the reviews that Masterton Dsitrict Library provides be considered
evaluative. The Masterton District Library will filter reviews
and may reject reader reviews.
The Book Reviews
section is is a collaborative enterprise constructed out of
the resources of Masterton District Library, authors, editors,
publishers, and readers. Thus, copyright and intellectual
property are shared. Authors and publishers, of course, retain
the rights to their original words. By submitting a review
reviewers give MDC permission to publish their work. Readers
who submit reviews must use their own words . If you wish
to remove something from the reviews list that you composed
or own the rights to, the Masterton District Library will
accommodate your request.
