Masterton District Library and Wairarapa Archive are please to be able to offer the subscription database Ancestry.com free to our customers. Ancestry.com is the largest family history site online with over 4 billion names in worldwide historical records, family tree services and genealogy. There are restrictions to the access to Ancestry.com which mean that we are only able to offer access at the Library or Archive. Please ask the staff for assistance.

An informal opportunity to discuss books and reading with others. Monthly on Mondays, 1.00pm. |

Stories, music and crafts sessions for preschoolers and their caregivers. Wednesday mornings during the school term. |

A programme designed to encourage and stimulate children to explore mathematical concepts for 5 to 11 years. July school holidays. Register NOW |

Winter Warmers |
A mid winter programme. Read books and review them, earn rewards and attend a fun Finale. June & July each year. Register NOW. |

Summer Reading Programme |
A fun family orientated reading incentive scheme for children from preschool to preteen, which is available free of charge. 2 - 11 years. Summer school holidays. Registrations mid November. |

School Holiday Programmes |
Guest artists, story times and craft activities designed for 5 to 9 years each school holidays. All welcome. |
